Kim Dokja is an ordinary office worker whose only hobby is reading a web novel titled "Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World" (TWSA). He has followed the story for over a decade, and he is the sole reader who stayed until the final chapter. Just as the story ends, the world as he knows it disappears, and the reality of TWSA begins to unfold in the real world. As a "Constellation" system takes over Earth and forces humans into deadly "Scenarios," Dokja is the only person who knows how the world will end and how to survive. However, knowing the future doesn't make it easy. To reach the conclusion he desires, he must navigate a landscape of bloodthirsty monsters, god-like Constellations, and the novel's original cold-blooded protagonist, Yoo Joonghyuk, who has regressed hundreds of times. Dokja's journey is a meta-narrative exploration of what it means to be a "reader," an "author," and a "protagonist."
