One year ago, a zombie outbreak devastated South Korea. Today, the country is officially declared "zombie-free"—but the government is lying. Jeong-hwan Lee is a single father living in a rural village with a massive secret: his middle-school daughter, Su-ah, was bitten during the outbreak and is the last surviving zombie on Earth. Refusing to give her up, Jeong-hwan treats her condition like a difficult stage of puberty. Using his skills as a former zoo keeper, he embarks on a "humanity training" program to teach Su-ah how to walk, eat, and hide her cravings. It’s a heartwarming, absurd, and occasionally tear-jerking story about how far a father will go for his child, even when she's technically dead.
